Better distribution of camp duties (cooking, cleanup, ...).  Fill out duty roster before camp and review with SPL.

Plan ahead for Camp Adventure Award (and other events).

Talk up polar bear activities, Mile swim, Camp-wide Events on Friday, Hike to Viewing Rock, ...

Plan ahead for camp improvement (boot cleaner, ...)

Bring extra food supplies - peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna, spices, ... to augment camp supplies.

Bring charcoal for dutch oven cooking.

Bring equipment for Tot'n Chip and Blade and Blaze (hand saw, hand axe, ropes, ...)

Bring extra lanterns / mantels.

Bring plenty of cleaning materials - plastic buckets, scrub pads, dishwasher soap, disinfectant.

Bring extra garbage bags and ziplock bags.

Bring chuck box cooking items - cast iron skillet, utensils, ...

Anyone working on water merit badges (Swimming, Lifesaving, ...) needs to get in shape before summer camp !

Bring blank MB cards.  Have Scouts fill out MB cards ahead of time (name, unit, ...).

Bring partial MB cards from previous camps.

Don't forget Troop and Patrol Flags.
